The 1st Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR) based at Lavarack Barracks, Townsville. has received its first Hawkei Protected Mobility Vehicles, with the unit’s social media page showing off photos of at least five of its vehicles.

Under Project Land 121 Phase 4 – Protected Mobility Vehicle (Light) or PMV-L, the Thales Hawkei will replace some of the Army’s Land Rovers.
