Metakosmos (Vyom Tech Pty Ltd) is an Australian spacesuit technology startup working on the next generation integrated commercial spacesuit platform, the Kosmosuit. Metakosmos is one of 12 Australian companies to have been awarded grants through the Moon to Mars Supply Chain Capability program in intake 10 announced on 1 March, 2024.
The cutting edge 12 Aussie space projects, which align with NASA’s Artemis mission, will share in more than $9 million in funding to help drive innovation and support emerging Australian science. The Moon to Mars grants will assist these Australian companies to enter global space supply chains.

The $250,000 grant will assist Metakosmos to improve the technology readiness level of Kosmosuit, which has dual-use terrestrial applications. The project aims to establish connectivity between the subsystems and the proprietary bioastronautics interface, which will be deployed at various centres. The project also builds an internal automated capability that further enhances the space suit production capacity.
