AVIATION MAINTENANCE INDUSTRY CONFERENCE AGENDA FIRMS UP FOR AVALON 2019 The region’s aviation Maintenance and Repair Organisation (MRO) businesses are facing challenges from overseas competition and an acute shortage of qualified engineers at home. The Growing MRO Business in the Indo-Asia-Pacific Region Conference, to be conducted as part of AVALON 2019 by Australia’s Aviation Maintenance Repair and Overhaul Business Association (AMROBA) will see top-flight MRO experts from Australia and around the region presenting on the challenges and opportunities for the industry. They will cover MRO developments, equipage, training, regulatory obligations and impacts, and opportunities for more general MRO trans-border tasking.
