BAE Systems mobile app lets soldiers get behind the AMV35 armour
BAE Systems Australia today launched a mobile application that will provide the latest news and information about the company’s AMV35, the Combat Reconnaissance Vehicle proposed for LAND 400.
The AMV35 app includes detailed information about the AMV35’s capabilities, especially its survivability, lethality, agility and mobility, as well as precise vehicle performance specifications.
The intent is to share information about the AMV35 with people who have an interest in Land 400 so that they can easily find the information they need. Interested users are expected to be potential future users of the AMV, military/defence enthusiasts and Australian SMEs seeking information about potential manufacturing and sustainment opportunities.
BAE Systems Australia has offered the AMV35 – Patria’s modern, agile, highly protected military-off-the-shelf Armoured Modular Vehicle, integrated with the combat-proven E35 turret from BAE Systems Hägglunds.
BAE Systems Australia LAND 400 Campaign Lead Brian Gathright said:
“As Land 400 is a competition of ideas and not just vehicles, sharing our ideas about how to fully meet and exceed the ADF’s requirements via a mobile app, is an innovative and agile approach.
“We invite our teaming partners, ADF personnel and representatives of our 1600 strong supply chain to download the app, engage with the content and provide feedback, either about the AMV35 or more broadly about LAND 400.”
The app is available by clicking online ads that are now live across defence trade publications in Australia and also via the following link: www.baesystems.com/amv35
It will be regularly updated with new content.
