Day & Zimmermann (D&Z), the century-old, family-owned provider of construction and engineering, staffing, and defence solutions for leading corporations and governments around the world, announced it has agreed to partner with the Australian Missile Corporation on upcoming manufacturing projects. Day & Zimmerman, one of the world’s top 100 defence companies, has confirmed its intended collaboration with the AMC, subject to U.S. Government approvals, which was created on the back of the Australian government’s plan to accelerate a domestic guided missile manufacturing enterprise. The AMC is a wholly owned subsidiary of NIOA – the largest Australian-owned supplier of weapons and munitions to the ADF.

“Day & Zimmermann has a proud history of supporting the US Armed Forces and our allied nations,” said Mike Yoh, President, Munitions and Government. “We look forward to embarking on this new venture with AMC in its ambition to back the Australian Government’s plan for a sovereign guided weapons facility, ready to support the ADF.”

Day & Zimmermann joins a growing list of Australian and international businesses to register with the AMC. The expertise of these companies with world-leading insights will be critical to support the Australian Government as it realises its vision for a sovereign guided weapons enterprise equipped and ready to support the ADF.

Robert Nioa, CEO of NIOA and the Australian Missile Corporation, welcomed the support of Day & Zimmermann: “We are thrilled to have the support of a globally recognized company such as Day & Zimmermann, working together with our many other collaborators on this project. In D&Z, we have a family-owned business that shares AMC’s goal of strengthening the sovereign capability of our respective countries.”
