Cuthell, who commenced in his role today (5 September), will work from the company’s Canberra head office and report directly to CEO Dr Andreas Schwer. His diverse career as a finance executive has included over 15 years in the CFO role at a variety of ASX-listed and multinational corporations operating in a range of sectors, including manufacturing, industrials, satellite communications and fast-moving consumer goods.

An expert in driving growth and managing change, Cuthell will now assume oversight of EOS’ finance function, leading the company’s finance teams and working closely with its executive leadership to set and track financial goals and deliver financial growth. He brings significant international experience to the role, having worked in a range of global sectors and in North American, European and Asian markets.

Schwer welcomed the appointment, saying it would support the next phase of the company’s growth. “Given the breadth and variety of EOS’ global activities, the Company has a strong need for robust fiscal governance. We consider that Clive has the expertise and experience required to ensure that our corporate goals are well supported by effective financial decision-making.”

Cuthell said “The EOS business has significant potential, and I look forward to joining the team and helping to realise the next phases of the Company’s global growth.”

Cuthell is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a graduate and member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is also Non-Executive Director of Learning Links, a Sydney-based not-for-profit organisation that focuses on preventing learning difficulties in children from causing disadvantage.
