Defence Seaworthiness Symposium

FreeThe Office of the Defence Seaworthiness Regulator (ODSwR) is hosting the inaugural Defence Seaworthiness Symposium in Canberra in November this year. The theme of the symposium is ‘Reforming to Transform – Seaworthiness as a Defence-wide priority’.
This event is intended to bring together Capability Managers and their representatives, members of Defence Industry, operators and other stakeholders to discuss the seaworthiness system, share insights and pass on information to improve the governance and management of Defence seaworthiness at the micro and macro level.
The format will include an opening address from Vice Admiral Michael Noonan in his role as the Defence Seaworthiness Authority, as well as presentations from RADM Colin Lawrence, RADM Wendy Malcolm, CDRE Colin Dagg, CDRE Katherine Richards, BRIG Todd Ashurst and Mr Peter Chesworth.
