L-3 Australia Announces Opening of New Facility in Central Melbourne
MELBOURNE, Australia, April 5, 2016 – L-3 Australia announced today its plans to open a new Design, Engineering and Support facility in South Wharf, Melbourne, Victoria. The South Wharf facility will house design and support engineers and includes a state-of-the-art communications system laboratory that will provide a testing and support environment for the Royal Australian Navy’s submarine and surface fleet. The new facility is a critical part of L-3 Australia’s growing presence in maritime communications and electronic systems integration, along with ongoing support to current and future L-3 programs in the region.
