https://www.milcis.com.au/Navantia Australia and SH Defence have signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) to collaborate on Navantia’s Uncrewed Landing Craft (ULC) concept and other maritime designs. This strategic partnership reflects both organisations’ dedication to pursuing joint innovation in naval systems and modular mission capabilities. While non-binding, the LoI outlines several areas of cooperation, including:

  • Technical Collaboration: Exploring avenues for technical cooperation, including the integration of SH Defence’s Cube™ system and Twist lock system to enhance the modularity and mission flexibility of the ULC platform.
  • Joint Promotion and Engagement: Participating in joint promotional and industry engagement activities to showcase the combined capabilities of Navantia Australia and SH Defence.
  • Future Planning: Continuing planning discussions to shape the future direction of the ULC, including potential trials, demonstrations, and export opportunities.
