Peter Arambatzis has been named Chief Financial Officer at Nova Systems. Arambatzis is relocating to Nova Systems’ Adelaide head office from Sydney this month after most recently working for document and digital solutions supplier for the legal industry, Law In Order. “I am looking forward to joining Nova Systems, a growing sovereign Australian company with vast potential,” Arambatzis said.

Arambatzis will be part of the Nova Systems Executive Committee as he leads the company’s Finance and Commercial portfolio overseeing financial, commercial, and legal, business services, and security and technology functions, along with key projects such as the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning. He has previously worked for the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operations Officer.

Arambatzis has a Bachelor of Accounting and Business Management majoring in Accounting / Finance and a Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in Management, Administration and Economics from the University of Technology Sydney. He is a Fellow of the Society of CPAs and holds a MBA majoring in Finance and Marketing from the Macquarie University Graduate School of Management.

Nova Systems Chief Executive Officer Jim McDowell welcomed Arambatzis to the business and thanked outgoing CFO Jill Noble, who has retired, for her contribution to the company. “Jill has supported Nova’s journey over the past 10 years and has been committed and passionate about Nova’s vision, supporting the growth of the organisation from a $51 million to a $335 million business and building a highly capable Finance and Commercial team,” McDowell said. “I would like to thank Jill for all she has contributed to building Nova Systems to where we are today and setting us up for future success.”
