Nova Systems’ headquarters in South Australia has made a move from Mile End to new, state-of-the-art offices in the heart of the city to support the company as it continues to rapidly expand. From this week, the leading engineering services and technology solutions company will operate its HQ from a centrally located, newly fit-out, open-plan office located at 169 Pirie Street.

Founded by two veterans – Jim Whalley and Peter Nikoloff – in 1999 in Adelaide, South Australia, the company has grown from just two staff to more than 650 people located across Australia today. Nova Systems is a trusted partner to the Australian Defence Force and has supported almost every major Defence project for the past two decades. The company specialises in systems engineering advisory and management services alongside advanced digital technology, software and systems integration solutions.

Nova Systems prides itself on ensuring it makes its people a point of difference and continues to be recognised as a top employer, placing 11th in the latest +WRK Best Places to Work study. Last year, Nova Systems introduced “Ways of Working”, giving employees new options to support their lives and wellbeing, like flexible dress code and no meeting half day.

Nova Systems Chief Executive Officer Jim McDowell said the company’s new Adelaide headquarters were a significant move for the business. “Our Adelaide office move is a really exciting step forward for Nova Systems as we relocate into newer and more modern premises at a time when the business continues to rapidly expand in Australia – and across the world,” McDowell said. “Nova Systems is continuously recruiting and looking for the best and brightest minds to support our mission to ensure Australia remains safe and secure and we hope our new office space in the heart of the city is another reason to entice people to work with us. Nova Systems continues to strive to be an employer of choice, so our people are supported and thrive.”

Nova Systems has strategically located offices across Australia in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Canberra and Newcastle, as well as a presence in New Zealand, Singapore, Norway, the UK and Ireland.
