Kym Bergmann ABC’s Chris Bath sits down with APDR Editor Kym Bergmann as the two discuss the preparedness of the Australian Defence Force in light of the Chinese Navy conducting live-fire drills in the Tasman Sea. Clearly, the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) in particular is under-prepared – and Bergmann says Australia can expect many more of these visits in the future and that the only mature approach is to start talking about an increase in the Australian defence budget.
