DroneShield releases DroneGun Mk4

DroneShield announced the release a breakthrough new product, DroneGun Mk4, following extensive development in response to end-user feedback. The product is available for purchase from today to qualified end-users, where lawful. DroneGun Mk4 is a portable pistol-shape drone jammer, weighting 3.2kg. The company believes this product is peerless globally, for its combination of size and effectiveness. DroneGun Mk4 is designed as an addition to the DroneGun product line, rather than replacing the highly successful long range DroneGun Tactical, and the ultra-lightweight DroneGun Mk3, providing an optimal balance between size and capability. DroneGun Mk4 can also be used in combination with other DroneShield products, including the RfPatrol body-worn detection device and the DroneSentry stationary multi-sensor detection system. The DroneGun Mk4 is highly effective against a wide range of UAS types and models. The DroneGun Mk4 can disrupt the control, navigation and video of multiple drones simultaneously. When disruption is triggered, UAS will typically respond via a vertical controlled landing on the spot, or return back to the operator controller or starting point. RF disruption can also interfere with any live video streaming (FPV) back to the remote controller halting the collection of video footage and intelligence by the UAS operator. DroneShield’s C-UAS defeat capabilities do not involve protocol manipulation or “cyber” tactics, given the limitations of those methods.
