Saab providing support to Australia for Carl-Gustaf M4

Saab Australia has signed a contract with the Commonwealth of Australia to provide in-country through-life support for the Carl-Gustaf M4 weapon. The initial four-year contract, which includes two two-year extension options, will see Saab deliver the maintenance, repair, and provision of spares of the 84mm Carl-Gustaf M4 recoilless rifle, as well as operator and maintainer training for Australian Defence Force personnel. Saab will provide assured, agile, and timely provision of in-service support of the Carl-Gustaf M4, under the Short Range Anti-Armour Weapon System (SRAAW) support contract and drive growth through product roadmap updates and a framework for future acquisitions to enable capability enhancements.
