Veteran owned-and-operated Allectum wins RAAF support contract

In partnership with a panel provider, Canberra-based Allectum has been selected to provide the sustainment office capability for Distributed Ground Station–Australia. Distributed Ground Station – Australia (DGS-AUS) is a first-of-type capability for intelligence fusion and dissemination of airborne–generated sensor data for the Royal Australian Air Force. In servicing this capability, Allectum has employed a diverse range of veterans who will impart their years of service and knowledge of ADF ICT environments to support the Royal Australian Air Force’s fifth-generation platforms and key decision-makers. Allectum, a veteran-owned and operated company, partnered with SME Gateway to win the contract to provide the sustainment office capability for the Royal Australian Air Force. The sustainment office capability will enable the Air Force to balance the requirements of the existing capability while at the same time on board the new capability as delivered under project AIR3503. Distributed Ground Station – Australia is responsible for the analysis of data collected from the various Air Force intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance aircraft. It also has access to national intelligence resources and using advanced computer systems, it can rapidly fuse collected information and provide decision-makers with enhanced situational awareness of events.
