Rockwell Collins Australia Pty Ltd and Thales Australia Ltd have signed a Teaming Agreement to collaborate on the development, delivery and sustainment of integrated Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) solutions for Simulation-enabled Collective Training (SeCT).
The teaming agreement will leverage Rockwell Collins’ proven Joint Secure Air Combat System (JSAS) which features Certified Multiple Levels of Security. In addition, Rockwell operates one of the world’s largest air-to-ground networks that provides assured global communications to aviation customers through open architecture solutions that connect distributed LVC entities.
Thales has 3,200 employees over 35 sites across Australia and is a premier provider of complex systems, products and services to the Australian Defence Force including training and simulation solutions for helicopters, aircraft, land vehicles, ships and submarines. This Teaming Agreement will leverage Thales unparalleled investment in local research and development and its proven ability to develop sovereign capability.
