Through its branch in Koblenz, Thales Deutschland has been awarded a three-year contract with the BAAINBw for the maintenance of components of the mobile threat simulators and their peripherals as part of the Polygone programme.
It is a continuation of the long-term partnership for services in the fields of customer-oriented advising, predictive maintenance, obsolescence management, repairs, exercise and training and weapon systems. Thales site in Koblenz has maintained these systems for 15 years and will further expand its services for customers and continue its development.

Mastering modern aircraft in complex threat scenarios requires high quality training. Under the Polygone program, a comprehensive data bank has been established, incorporating both aircraft metrics and Thales high-tech data systems. This integration provides the crews with a robust analysis and precise debriefing of the use and efficiency of their aircraft’s self-protection equipment.
