It is a continuation of the long-term partnership for services in the fields of customer-oriented advising, predictive maintenance, obsolescence management, repairs, exercise and training and weapon systems. Thales site in Koblenz has maintained these systems for 15 years and will further expand its services for customers and continue its development.

“Simulation plays a key role in handling, procedural, behavioural and communication training in all operational areas and at all operational levels. Mastering modern aircraft in complex threat scenarios requires high quality training. We are thrilled to be able to continue supporting the German Armed Forces in the Polygone programme,” said Christoph Ruffner, CEO of Thales Germany.

Under the Polygone program, a comprehensive data bank has been established, incorporating both aircraft metrics and Thales high-tech data systems. This integration provides the crews with a robust analysis and precise debriefing of the use and efficiency of their aircraft’s self-protection equipment.
