TT Electronics, a provider of global manufacturing and engineered technologies, announced that its Fairford UK business has been awarded a new contract with Kongsberg Defence and Aerospace (Kongsberg) for the production of complex cable harness solutions. TT Electronics will provide engineering and production for cable harness and housing assemblies for Kongsberg’s Naval Strike Missiles (NSM) in an agreed contract to the end of 2026.

“With decades of experience supporting our customers on critical military land, air, sea and munitions programmes, we are proud to have built a reputation based on collaboration and trust,” said Michael Leahan, Executive Vice President, Commercial at TT Electronics. “We have a longstanding relationship with Kongsberg Aerospace and Defence, and we appreciate the opportunity to support their ongoing commitment to provide defence systems and technologies to nations across the world. The latest contract award demonstrates confidence in the continued delivery of engineering expertise, complex assemblies for the harshest of environments and operational excellence from our Fairford UK facility.”

Marianne Bergan Tveito, Missile Systems at Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace AS added: “TT Electronics plays a vital role in the success of our global supply chain. Their consistent quality and reliability, and collaboration on critical programme delivery enables us to meet customer demands seamlessly.”

This award is the latest in a series of new contract signings for TT Electronics in the UK and North America, driven by an increased demand for global aerospace and defence platform production. Awards announced in recent weeks include RBSL Challenger 3 Award for cable assembly at TT’s Abercynon site and a multi-year contract with Marotta Controls from the company’s site in Cleveland Ohio.
