New Zealand considering purchase of Seasprites.

New Zealand Defence Minister Jonathan Coleman has confirmed that he is considering purchasing 11 Seasprite helicopters rejected by Australia in 2008.   The cancellation of the Australian contract – which had seen Australia spend $1.1 billion on acquiring 11 helicopters – led to the aircraft being put back on the market.
