Nova Systems said it has named Kate Barsby as the Managing Director – Major Service Provider (MSP). Barsby has over 20 years of experience in Defence and Government sectors and joins Nova Systems from KBR where she held roles as Head of Strategic Projects, General Manager MSP and Operations Director.
Prior to this Barsby served as an officer for the Australian Army where she helped to shape the future leadership pipeline of the ADF. She was also deployed to Bosnia on active service as part of UN peacekeeping mission and was awarded the United Nations Medal for Peacekeeping and was recognised for her distinguished service in conflict stabilisation and education delivery.
As the leader of the MSP Branch, Barsby will be responsible for the leadership of professional services to CASG, focusing on governance, performance, and compliance.
