AF Indra Banner Defensa 728x90pxPentenAmio and L3Harris Technologies announced a new teaming agreement to enable secure, mobile access to classified information for government and defence customers across Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, and other allied nations.

The collaboration will see the companies co-develop and deliver Prime Crypt Key solutions that integrate L3Harris’ trusted CATAPAN encryption products, PentenAmio’s AltoCrypt secure mobility technologies, and jointly developed capabilities. The teaming will create a seamless customer experience across hardware, software, services, and support.

“By combining two sovereign encryption portfolios, we’re unlocking scale, agility, and mission relevance,” said Sarah Bailey, Group Executive Director, PentenAmio. “This is about delivering integrated solutions that meet the evolving needs of allied governments and defence organisations and doing it quickly and reliably.”

“This agreement strengthens the foundation for continued innovation in cryptographic technology,” said Ian Menzies, General Manager, Intelligence and Cyber International, L3Harris Technologies. “Working with PentenAmio allows both organisations to leverage complementary expertise and deliver enhanced capabilities for our customers.”

The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to innovation, interoperability, and sovereign capability development, and positions the alliance to become a designated Prime Crypt Mission Partner for our authorities and customers.

Initial efforts include continued joint development of the Symmetric Key Manager (SKM), which enables secure, over-the-network key generation for classified environments. SKM is highly sustainable with no physical media required and has no ITAR restrictions, making it easier to export and use amongst trusted international allies. This supports high-tempo operations, eliminates physical risk, and eradicates a costly, resource-intensive physical keying process.

The formal agreement is to be finalised at MILCIS 2025, with joint roadmap alignment and coordinated business development already underway. The teaming is non-exclusive, allowing both PentenAmio and L3Harris to independently pursue customer requirements and offer their own products or services, including in cooperation with other partners.
