Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace (‘KONGSBERG’) has signed an agreement with Lockheed Martin with an expected total value of NOK 2 billion for deliveries of components to the F-35 fighter aircraft.
The agreement extends KONGSBERG’s ongoing production of F-35 components through 2030, supporting all three variants of the aircraft. The deliveries to production lots 20–22 of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter programme include rudders, vertical leading edges and main landing gear closeout panels, produced at KONGSBERG’s advanced manufacturing facilities in Norway.
The agreement reaffirms KONGSBERG’s strong and enduring position within the global F-35 programme, and reinforces KONGSBERG’s role as a long-term industrial partner to Lockheed Martin.
