Smart Shooter said it has received a follow-on U.S. Army contract valued at approximately US$10.7 million for its SMASH 2000LE (also known as SMASH 3000SA) fire control systems, along with related support services. Delivery under the contract is scheduled for the third quarter of 2026.
The award, issued through PAE Defensive Fires, represents a follow-on procurement that further expands the fielding of SMASH systems by the U.S. Army and reinforces Smart Shooter’s growing footprint across U.S. defense organisations, recognising SMASH as the only kinetic solution for individual Soldiers, Marines, and Airmen. The procurement will be executed through Atlantic Diving Supply, Inc. (ADS Inc.). The contract also includes extended support coverage for the supplied systems.
The latest award follows Smart Shooter’s May 2025 contract with the U.S. Army, its July 2025 contract with the U.S. Marine Corps, and its March 2026 contract with JIATF-401 for the USAF, marking a series of recent U.S. defence procurements that continue to expand the fielding of SMASH systems across multiple branches of the U.S. military.
SMASH 2000LE (also known as SMASH 3000SA) is an enhanced configuration of Smart Shooter’s lightweight, rifle-mounted fire control system, adding connectivity capabilities that enable integration with external sensors and battle management systems. Incorporating advanced computer vision, artificial intelligence, and target tracking algorithms, SMASH enables operators to detect, track, and precisely engage aerial and ground targets, including small unmanned aerial systems. The system provides a reliable, combat-proven hard-kill capability against evolving small drone threats.
