AvalonHanwha Ocean has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Australia’s premier defence industry body, the Australian Industry & Defence Network (AIDN). The agreement is focused on the establishment of a network of Australian companies to support Hanwha Ocean as it seeks to develop its production capabilities in Australia.

“The MoU signifies Hanwha Ocean’s commitment to expanding its presence in Australia for future projects, providing advanced naval solutions that enhance sovereign shipbuilding capabilities,” said Steve SK Jeong, VP, Head of Naval Ship International Business, Hanwha Ocean. “We see it as the beginning of a great opportunity to foster long-term partnerships within Australia’s defence industry.”
