Naval Group Australia has awarded an almost A$1 million contract to Australian-based data centre operator YourDC. Within their flagship facility based in the northern suburbs of Adelaide, YourDC will construct and deliver to Naval Group Australia a secure, dedicated, data centre space that will house NGA’s sensitive computer systems.

Naval Group Australia CEO John Davis said that YourDC was selected as the preferred data centre provider following a competitive Request for Proposal process. “Naval Group Australia is focussed on creating local jobs and benefitting local businesses as we deliver the Attack Class submarines,” said Davis. “As a local business, YourDC will play a critical role in supporting Naval Group Australia as our workforce rapidly increases and our facilities expand. This contract further demonstrates Naval Group’s commitment to maximising Australian industry capability across the Future Submarine Programme.”
