Singapore AirshowAerodata announced it has introduced Prometheon, a new multi-domain information management system for security-critical operations in the field of surveillance and reconnaissance. The system supports mission management throughout the entire mission cycle – from planning and execution to post-mission analysis.

Prometheon integrates information from various data sources, such as sensors and subsystems, and provides a common operational picture (COP) in real time. This enables continuously adapted mission management across all phases of the operation, even when circumstances change rapidly. The system focuses on providing information at the appropriate level and ensuring information sovereignty: mission-relevant information is contextualised, prioritised and made available in a focused manner. This reduces information overload, accelerates decision-making and thus ensures the ability to act under time pressure and changing conditions.

The system architecture is designed for resilience and interoperability. Prometheon can be netted to existing mission and information systems and is prepared to map all domains. Access to mission-relevant information is guaranteed even with limited connectivity.

“Prometheon creates the basis for cross-domain situational awareness in real time and strengthens information sovereignty in security-critical operational scenarios,” says Neset Tükenmez, CEO of Aerodata. “This enables us to address the key requirements of state-of-the-art surveillance and reconnaissance operations.”
