Boeing Defence Australia has appointed Kevin Beaulne to lead the company’s defence presence in South Australia. Beaulne will help drive Boeing Defence Australia’s growth in South Australia, building on support programmes currently operating in the state, including for the E-7A Wedgetail, P-8A Poseidon and Collins Class submarine, as well as for emerging opportunities in space and intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and electronic warfare (ISREW).
He will also support Boeing’s local community engagement, industry collaboration and education partnerships. Beaulne has enjoyed a decorated 25-year career with the Canadian and Australian defence forces, including being awarded a Conspicuous Service Cross (CSC) in 2007. After seven years in defence industry, he joined Boeing Defence Australia in 2018.

Boeing Defence Australia Vice President and Managing Director Scott Carpendale said Beaulne’s appointment would strengthen South Australia’s position as a strategic hub for Boeing. “Beaulne’s proud 15-year history with the Royal Australian Air Force as a maritime patrol aviator, coupled with his strong defence industry experience working for a number of primes, makes him ideally suited to his new role,” Carpendale said. “He is well-placed to lead the company’s defence presence in South Australia and expand upon our world-class programs such as the E-7A Wedgetail and P-8A Poseidon while also further developing our offerings in the space, cyber and ISREW markets. Growing our South Australia presence and working with the state’s defence community is an important part of Boeing’s growth strategy. We remain fully committed to continuing our work with the state government, other primes and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to grow our relationships, business and workforce in SA.”
