Boeing Australia Component Repairs has announced that it has signed a contract with the Commonwealth of Australia to repair and refurbish structural components
for the Royal Australian Air Force F/A-18 A/B fleet. Under the contract, Boeing Australia Component Repairs will repair and refurbish flight control surfaces, doors and panels for F/A-18 A/B aircraft from its facility in Melbourne, Victoria.
Commencing on 18 August 2010, the three-year contract also has one-year extension options and will provide ongoing work for Boeing Australia Component Repairs’ Melbourne-based employees.
