AvalonA dedicated team of cloud experts will now provide Australian organisations with a comprehensive suite of AWS solutions from technical services and design to implementation, management, and optimisation, following the launch of a new AWS practice by global digital transformation leader, Fujitsu. The Australian cloud market is expected to reach AU$38.1 billion by 2027, according to IDC.

Graeme Beardsell, Chief Executive Officer of Fujitsu Asia Pacific, said: “The Fujitsu AWS practice will help businesses of all sizes unlock the full potential of the cloud, enabling them to be more agile, innovative, and competitive. Our new AWS practice adds a powerful, in-demand capability to Fujitsu Digital Acceleration Services, which offers leading expertise in cloud, security, data, and enterprise solutions to deliver transformative digital outcomes for businesses and governments.”

Fujitsu’s new AWS practice is led by two industry veterans, Daniel Wundersitz and Mark Telkes. Wundersitz brings a wealth of business experience and sales expertise to the role of AWS Practice Lead. He most recently co-built and led one of the largest AWS practices in a technology company in Australia. Telkes, a proven Senior Business Development specialist in the AWS space, joins as Senior Sales Executive.

Wundersitz said: “Australia has a range of AWS system integrators. Very few can offer the experience, scale, depth, and breadth of a global digital transformation partner like Fujitsu. We are a trusted advisor for customers across many sectors including enterprise, public sector, and defence.”

Fujitsu is a Premier AWS partner, Advanced Consulting Partner, and Amazon Connect Partner. The global digital transformation leader will offer technical services in cloud solutions, contact centre solutions (via Amazon Connect), and deep expertise in cloud optimisation, migration, and managed services. This comprehensive alliance helps achieve seamless cloud adoption and ongoing operational excellence to increase our customers agility, optimise their costs, and accelerate their innovation using AWS. As one of Asia Pacific’s most trusted global systems integrators, Fujitsu has a proven track record of delivering successful technology solutions for organisations across various industries including defence, public sector, health, retail, and financial services.

Fujitsu’s ability to successfully partner with the world’s top technology companies to help organisations with their digital transformations has also been recognised by other alliance partners including:

  • Microsoft: Fujitsu has been appointed to the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association, a prestigious global ecosystem of leading software vendors and managed security service providers across the world.
  • SAP: SAP Gold Partner, awarded to organisations lauded for their comprehensive solution delivery and high customer satisfaction levels.
  • ServiceNow: A Leader in ISG’s study ServiceNow Ecosystem 2024 Australia.

The new AWS practice follows the launch of Fujitsu Cyber Security Services, an integrated team of data security and forensics experts to support organisations in Australia and New Zealand. This team provides a full range of cyber security services, including threat intelligence, incident response, and digital forensics, helping organisations prepare for and respond to complex cyber threats. Fujitsu also continues to actively invest in emerging and advanced technologies, including quantum computing. In partnership with the Australian National University (ANU), Fujitsu is establishing a centre for quantum research, with ambitions to build an onsite quantum computer.
