www.elbitsystems.com.auXTEK Limited announced that the group has received new purchase orders worth a combined value of A$2.35 million. Three of the new orders, from undisclosed international customers, are for the supply of specialist ballistic armour products valued at A$2.15 million. These orders now take the total value of orders received over the last 30 days by XTEK’s Ballistics Division, to more than A$8.1 million. The division continues to have significant inbound enquires for our armour products, reflecting the current heightened global security environment.

The final order, also from an undisclosed customer, is for specialist hardware and software technology products worth A$200,000. This new Technology Division order also follows fast on the heels of the 9 March announcement regarding Defence SUAS related purchase orders worth A$4.94 million having been received, and takes divisional bookings to more than A$5.1 million in March.

Scott Basham, XTEK Group CEO, said, “XTEK supplies world-class, advanced personal protection ballistic products, and high-end technology solutions to militaries, law enforcement agencies, and first responder customers all around the world. These new orders, totalling A$2.35 million, which come quickly on the back of almost A$11 million in other orders we received across the group during March, continue to show the high demand we are experiencing for our advanced ballistic armour products, as well as for the high-end hardware and software technology solutions that we provide to law enforcement agencies and military organisations.”

The high-performance ballistics products will be priority shipped to these international customers to meet their urgent operational needs, while the specialist software and hardware products, which have a longer production lead time, will be delivered to a separate client in Q4 FY22. The group continues to develop additional large supply opportunities for armour products in particular, currently with other international customers, and the company expects to make further announcements on the outcome of those projects in due course.
