USE THIS ONEBAE Systems Australia’s shipbuilding business, ASC Shipbuilding, is hosting a virtual update for industry on the Hunter Class Frigate Program. The webinar will be held on Friday, 21 August from 3:30pm – 5pm ACST and focus on Continuous Naval Shipbuilding, Australian Industry Capability, the transition of the Type 26 reference ship design capability to Australia, and the certification process conducted by Lloyd’s Register. Speakers will include representatives of ASC Shipbuilding, the Department of Defence and Lloyd’s Register.

The Hunter program will deliver nine of the world’s most advanced anti-submarine warfare frigates to the Royal Australian Navy, and is the largest surface ship program in the nation’s defence history. To participate in the webinar, businesses need to have registered interest in Hunter through the Industry Capability Network Gateway – www.icn.org.au.
