Beak Engineering Wins Langa Industrial Distribution Rights
Langa Industrial SA, a world leader in the design and manufacture of ground support equipment (GSE) and tooling for the aircraft industry — both civil and defence, has appointed Beak Engineering (Aust) as its Australian distributor.
Over the past 10 years, Beak Engineering has established itself as one of the foremost GSE manufacturers and suppliers to government defence authorities, airlines, airports and emergency response organisations.
Madrid-based Langa Industrial operates in 60 countries and has approvals from aircraft manufacturers such as Airbus, Airbus Defence and Space, Eurofighter, BAE Systems and ATR.
Mr Terry Knowles, managing director of Beak Engineering, said Langa has an exceptional reputation in the civil and defence industries for their quality processes relating to the testing and overall safety of their products.
“Their facilities have the most advanced means for quality inspection including several test benches to test loads up to 300 tons. This is in addition to portable jack testers for onsite tests up to 125 tons. We believe all their products will be well accepted in Australia as they are cost effective solutions for virtually all types of aeroplanes and helicopters.
“Langa’s range complements our GSE equipment and will provide our service and maintenance department with a further revenue stream once the equipment is sold and deployed in the field,” Terry Knowles said.
