Chief Fluid Systems announced the first successful export of the MRN-4-1 Gravity Refuelling Nozzle Kit to the United States, marking a significant milestone in the company’s global expansion. The MRN-4-1-KIT, developed in-house by Director Glen Haddon, the MRN-4-1-KIT sets a new standard in refuelling, providing a reliable, efficient, and cost-effective solution for fuelling operations across the globe.
The MRN-4-1 Gravity Refuelling Nozzle Kit is compatible with a wide range of airframes, including external fuel tanks. It eliminates the necessity for traditional gravity refuelling nozzles that are expensive, cumbersome, and hard to operate, as well as hazardous due to compatibility and design issues that are often the cause of fuel spills. Featuring calculated design elements to reduce spill risks and enhance fuel delivery precision, the MRN-4-1-KIT exceeds the demanding standards of international operators.
Compact, lightweight, and space-efficient, the MRN-4-1-KIT is ideal for operations with limited space, such as Forward Arming and Refuelling Points (FARP), deployments, refuelling from naval vessels, and land-based fuel tanker operations.
“We are thrilled to see the MRN-4-1-KIT debut in the U.S. market,” said Glen Haddon, Founder and Director of Chief Fluid Systems. “This achievement highlights the excellence of Australian industry capability and the increasing global recognition of our products. This kit represents our commitment to creating fluid conveying solutions that enhance both safety and operational efficiency in the refuelling process.”
Components for the MRN-4-1-KIT are commercial, off the self products, resulting in faster lead times and a lower cost. Spare parts are locally stocked and readily available, and components can be serviced locally by approved technicians.
As part of its broader global expansion strategy, Chief Fluid Systems is actively pursuing new markets and partnerships in the United States and other key regions. The successful export of the MRN-4-1-KIT demonstrates the company’s growing presence in the international market and highlights the strength of Australian innovation in delivering world-class solutions.
