Downer team wins RAN Gold Commendation

Downer’s Lands Management team at HMAS Creswell is recognised for remarkable excellence in land management.

The Royal Australian Navy Gold Commendation, a formal recognition of exceptional achievement, was presented to the Downer team for their “excellent achievement and devotion to duty for the presentation and husbandry of the HMAS Creswell lands estate”.
The commendation acknowledged the team’s efforts over the long-term, stating: “Your unrelenting effort over many years has delivered remarkable excellence in land management. It has been noted that you take pride in your work, whether it is public facing or behind the scenes. You are the exemplar of a team who pursues work done well for its own sake.”

The team was presented the prestigious Group Commendation by Captain Dugald Clelland CSC, RAN, on behalf of the Chief of Navy, in the HMAS Cresswell Wardroom.
