Gen 3 728x90EPE, an Australian veteran-owned company, announced a strategic partnership with Boston Dynamics, a world leader in mobile robots. This collaboration brings the advanced public safety Spot package to defence, public safety, and first responder agencies in Australia, New Zealand, and Indonesia.

EPE and Boston Dynamics share a common mission – to protect and empower humans operating in hazardous environments. Spot serves as a critical asset, reducing risk by being the first to enter and assess potentially dangerous scenarios. Designed to assist incident commanders, Spot provides rapid situational awareness, enabling informed decision-making and de-escalation of hazardous situations.

Operators issue simple commands, allowing Spot to autonomously navigate complex environments. Equipped with a self-righting feature, Spot can recover from falls, while its arm manipulation transforms Spot to more than just a surveillance platform making it a more valuable tool for public safety with the ability to manipulate the world around it.

With over 400 robots and thousands of sensors already deployed in defence and public safety sectors, EPE continues to lead the way in shaping the future of robotics and autonomous systems (RAS) in Australia.
