The Nova Group has announced the appointment of Mark Gill and Martin Broadhurst as non-executive directors to the board of Nova Group, effective 1 July. In welcoming the newest board members Nova Group chair, Jim Whalley, said Gill and Broadhurst would bring a breadth of expertise and knowledge in the defence, cyber and technology domains. Broadhurst is based in Cambridge in the United Kingdom and Gill in Brisbane, Australia.
“We’ve added extensive skills and experience to our board and we’re excited by the collective expertise they will bring to Nova Group as we continue to execute our strategy, enhance value for our clients and position the company for long-term growth and profitability,” Whalley said. Gill has broad experience as a senior executive in a variety of roles in both public and private technology companies, specialising in growing them on a global stage. “His expertise in telecommunications, space, networking, storage and security domains will be a welcome addition at a time when we are looking to build and grow our existing technology solutions,” Whalley said.
Broadhurst has dedicated his career to aerospace and has a deep understanding of both civil and Defence sectors in the United Kingdom and internationally.
He is a highly qualified and well networked executive who has provided entrepreneurial leadership to grow innovative and complex organisations.
“Martin’s international business leadership and growth experience in both the public and private sector, including with Ultra Electronics Group, will be invaluable,” Whalley said.
