QinetiQ announced that it has established an Advisory Board for its Australia sector. The inaugural members of the Advisory Board are:
- Stephen Conroy: A former Labor Party Senator with a 20-year career (1996-2016), Stephen Conroy served as Leader of the Government in the Senate, Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy, and Shadow Minister for Defence.
- Major General Anthony (Tony) Peter Fraser, AO, CSC (Ret’d): With 34 years of active service in the Australian Army and a combined 45 years across defence, industry, and commercial sectors, Tony’s notable roles include Deputy Secretary of Defence’s Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) and Managing Director of Airbus Australia Pacific.
- Air Vice-Marshal Margaret (Marg) Staib AM, CSC (Ret’d): A former senior officer of the Royal Australian Air Force, Margaret has been widely recognised for her contributions to military logistics and supply chain transformation. She also served as the CEO of Airservices Australia and currently chairs the Australian Logistics Council.
The Advisory Board will serve as an external voice representing the sector’s capabilities within the defence industry, government, and related areas. They will also provide trusted advice, critical thinking, and analysis to support sector leadership with strategy and decision-making.
