Vasey RSL Care has received a commitment of $120,000 over three years from the Box Hill RSL Sub-Branch, which will directly support the organisation’s V Centre Veteran Empowerment Program – an innovative initiative assisting veterans who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Located in Ivanhoe, Victoria, the V Centre Veteran Empowerment Program opened in February 2024 and is an industry-first, purpose-designed program. It combines safe, stable accommodation with tailored support services to help veterans navigate the challenges of transitioning to civilian life and regain independence.
The longstanding relationship between Vasey RSL Care and the Box Hill RSL Sub-Branch reflects a shared commitment to supporting the ex-service community. This latest contribution builds on previous support provided during the program’s early stages and reinforces a mutual dedication to improving outcomes for vulnerable veterans.
