Organisers AMDA Foundation have confirmed that next year’s Avalon Airshow will be held from Tuesday 23 November to Sunday 28 November, 2021.
This comes after AMDA announced last week that the Avalon Airshow will most likely be deferred to next November due to the continuing logistical and industry fallout from the COVID-19 pandemic.
In its announcement, AMDA says that the deferral will provide certainty for partners, stakeholders, exhibitors and participants. It will also enable industry to focus on managing through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and its aftermath.
It adds that the decision “will ensure the event serves its purpose as a powerful promotional and industry engagement forum on the way to business recovery and as a spectacular celebration of 100 years of the Royal Australian Air Force” given the event will serve as the centrepiece of the RAAF’s centenary celebrations.
