parari24 728x90SpearUAV announced a significant contract award from an un-disclosed customer in the value of $20 million. The contract is for the company’s flagship system, VIPER 300, which integrates reconnaissance, target acquisition, and loitering munition capabilities for use by infantry, tanks and other combat platforms. The company is expected to deliver the systems as early as 2025.

The VIPER 300 is a groundbreaking system that delivers unprecedented operational flexibility for battalion-level forces. Its revolutionary design allows the airborne system to be easily “folded” into a compact capsule, enabling instant deployment in any combat scenario. Soldiers can launch the system either on foot or from within a combat platform, using advanced AI tools that provide immediate target acquisition capabilities, for precision attack. Operators can activate the system after just a few days of training, requiring no prior experience with unmanned aerial systems.

The company also applies these capabilities to combat platforms such as tanks and APCs. The VIPER 300’s ability to incorporate various weapon types and adapt to mission requirements creates unprecedented independent capabilities for battalions. In addition to this significant contract, SpearUAV announced further contracts received for both offensive systems such as the VIPER 300 and VIPER 750 systems (primarily for naval use), along with defensive systems such as Viper I (Interceptor).

SpearUAV recently unveiled the VIPER I system, an advanced interceptor designed to neutralise aerial threats and overhead (Top) attackers. This system provides advanced protection for tactical forces and armoured fighting vehicles (AFVs) and fixed installations against overhead attack threats, including drones, hostile unmanned aerial systems, and loitering munitions. Characterised by rapid manoeuvring capabilities and an advanced artificial intelligence-based tracking system, the VIPER I is already attracting interest in the international market. The company sees this product as a significant growth engine, as it uses the same launch system as the VIPER 300 system, thereby giving armies operational flexibility and considerable budget savings.

Yiftach Kleinman, Deputy CEO of SpearUAV, said: “SpearUAV bridges the innovative spirit of the Israeli “Silicon Valley” with urgent defence needs both nationally and globally. At SpearUAV, there is a unique combination of employees who are combat-experienced professionals who directly translate field insights into technical innovation, and an engineering, operational and design team that is among the best in the industry. By integrating operational expertise with world-class engineering capabilities, we develop solutions that precisely address military challenges and maintain a competitive technological edge. The trust placed in us by this significant customer validates our unique approach and demonstrates our advanced capabilities in the rapidly evolving unmanned platform ecosystem. This contract not only represents a substantial opportunity but also includes expansion options that we anticipate will substantially grow our market presence in the near future.”

Kleinman added: “This is a record year for new contracts for SpearUAV, we anticipate further significant contracts before the year ends. We remain committed to pioneering advanced battalion-level solutions, that enhance operational autonomy in terms of reconnaissance, survivability, and lethality.”
