AvalonThomas Global Systems is working with Lockheed Martin to deliver next-generation computing input/output (I/O) capability for undisclosed platforms. Thomas Global Systems will develop and supply Lockheed Martin with new I/O technology enabling higher-performance data processing and more reliable communication, ensuring seamless and secure operations in challenging environments. This new capability will enhance customer’s capabilities for the United States, Australia, and partner nations.

The collaboration will leverage the benefits of the new AUKUS license exemptions, enabling Thomas Global Systems to efficiently utilise resources and capabilities across its US and Australian businesses. Lockheed Martin and Thomas Global Systems are among the pioneering companies to benefit from the License-Exempt Environment, which permits the vast majority of commercial, defence and dual-use trade between the US, UK and Australia to be authorised in accordance with the permitted exemptions. Working together, Thomas Global Systems is committed to maximising the opportunities presented by AUKUS for faster, more innovative and efficient defence technology cooperation.
