Day is an exceptional executive with significant national and international experience in complex and highly regulated industries. Furthermore, she has proven experience in leading member-based associations and driving outcomes for key business priorities that includes complex stakeholder and advocacy management.

The DTC’s Chairperson, Lee Houlson said “We are delighted to welcome Libby to the DTC. Her extensive experience, strategic mindset, and proven leadership abilities make her the ideal choice to position the DTC and its members to be ready to meet the needs of Defence in this new landscape. We are thrilled to work alongside her as we embark on this exciting journey of growth and transformation for the defence industry,” Houlson added.

Day is the Deputy Chair of the Australian Cyber Collaboration Centre and is an advisor to the Medical Technology Association of Australia. She has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Australia, a Graduate Diploma in Public Affairs at the University of Sydney and is GAICD qualified with the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
